Large 15″ x 17″ ANTIQUE Heavy METAL “Boy” CHERUB Sculpture ANGEL w BOW –Yard Art ANATOMICALLY Correct Statue of a Cupid. (the Roman name for the god of desire and erotic love, who is also the son of Venus), in the classic pose with bow and arrow. Suitable for placement on a Column & great for outdoors. Cherub is amazing & old. The metal has patina’d thru time Most likely a replica of classic Museum piece. The metal is pretty heavy tho not solid. Great for yard art or perfect for a foyer perfect atop of a pedestal. It may be an original than a replica, but I don’t know. The Cherub is all male & anatomically correct rarely seen on cupid sculptures, making this a Rare & very unusual Metal cupid Cherub Sculpture. Measures 15″ tall x 17″ side to side x 15 back to front. You can see how he dwarfs my dining room table (last picture). Condition: This is a very old piece. Metal has Patina’d to a light green color — there are some cracks & holes from Age & time (see closeups) a lot of texture to this gorgeous guy! The end tip of the arrow is missing. He is Fabulous w all his blemishes!! I have to say this is one of the Greatest Antique Cherub sculptures I have ever found.
